Comfortable, affordable student housing
Lancaster Seminary offers rooms for commuter students in Richards Hall* as well as three residence halls – Nevin Hall, Harner Hall, and Bowman Hall – for students and their families who choose the convenience and affordability of living on campus. The residence halls face a courtyard with outdoor seating, a fire pit and gardens.
They feature one- and two-bedroom unfurnished apartments with a living room, dining area, private bath, and kitchen with a refrigerator and apartment-sized stove/oven.

Rooms for commuter students
Furnished rooms in Richards Hall are available for commuter students who wish to periodically stay overnight on campus. Each floor has a common lounge with a kitchenette and comfortable seating. Most rooms in Richards Hall share a bathroom with the adjacent room. No pets are allowed in Richards Hall.
Richards Hall has fixed cooling and heating systems where the changeover setting from heating to cooling or vice versa is made manually. As the weather begins to grow colder in the fall and warm again in the spring, our facilities team monitors weather forecasts prior to determining when the air is turned from cool to heat and vice versa. We will send an email advising of the switch to heat in the fall and air conditioning in the spring.
