Hometown: Clayton, DE

Degree: Master of Divinity

Why have you chosen to pursue a degree at Lancaster Theological Seminary?  I chose Lancaster for its intimate community, academic excellence, and inclusion. The weekend schedule was also a factor in meeting my needs to continue my education.

What does scholarship support mean to you?  The help towards the tuition costs helps to ease the burden of paying tuition. I am incredibly grateful to receive a scholarship for my education at Lancaster Theological Seminary.

How are you hoping to serve your community post graduation? Pastoral Leadership and becoming a spiritual director.

Thank You

“Attending Lancaster Theological Seminary means so much to me as it allows me to gain knowledge from extraordinary professors and fellow students and to develop the skills that will be useful for my ministry work. I am a first-generation student in my immediate family to further my education. I grew up attending church and serving my community, and I found joy in serving in the local church. As I have heard God’s call to pastoral leadership, I want to do everything I can to be an effective leader and to play a part in God’s mission for the world. I see God’s mission for me as loving my neighbor and using the gifts given by God to uplift humanity as I am an instrument of God’s redemptive love for the world. I am truly excited about being a part of the Lancaster Theological Seminary family, a beloved community.”
