COVID-19 Update Friday March 13

Lancaster Seminary is continuously monitoring the ongoing outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 to safeguard the health of our community. To help lessen the spread of the virus, Lancaster Seminary announces the following actions:

  • Starting Tuesday, March 17 through Saturday, April 4, all classroom instruction will move to the online Moodle platform. Post-Easter plans will be announced by April 7.
  • Through Saturday, April 4,chapel services are cancelled and events are postponed. Check the website for new dates for rescheduled events.
  • Sunday, March 22: The free concert at 4:00pm by Liz Fulmer will be rescheduled to 4:00pm Sunday, August 23 in Santee Chapel.
  • Tuesday, March 24: The free Tuesday Topics talk “Women Who Speak for God,” by Dr. Julia M. O'Brien is rescheduled for June 2 at 10am in Santee Chapel.
  • Friday, March 27: The invitation-only Scholarship Dinner is cancelled and will be rescheduled. New date TBA.
  • Saturday, March 28 and Wednesday, April 1: Discover Day open house events for prospective students will be held online. Details to follow.
  • Monday, March 30: Doctor of Ministry Symposium will be held online. Details to follow.
  • Information about events and classes for mid-April and May will be available by April 7 after evaluation of the situation.
