Classes to continue online

January 7, 2022

Lancaster Theological Seminary announced on Jan. 7 that all classes will continue online for the next two weeks, due to the surge in cases of the omicron variant of COVID-19 in Lancaster. A decision about a possible return to in-person classes will be announced by the end of day, Thursday, Jan. 20.

In making the announcement, Associate Dean, the Rev. Dr. Vanessa Lovelace, said, “We hope that the omicron variant of COVID-19 will have begun to peak by Jan. 20. Please continue to follow the CDC guidelines for wearing masks in public, indoor places and to observe other virus mitigating practices to keep everyone safe.”

The Lancaster campus will remain closed to the public during this time.

Update: Due to the continued surge in COVID-19 cases in Lancaster County, the seminary campus will remain closed to the public through the end of Term 2 and the between-term break, which ends on Feb. 14, 2022.
