WHO WE ARE
Lancaster Theological Seminary is a richly diverse and dynamic graduate school of theology located in the historic city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Affiliated with the United Church of Christ, our campus is home to an engaged community of students and faculty from many Christian traditions and backgrounds.
WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to educate and strengthen Christian leaders for congregations and other vocations serving church and society. Our programs are designed to integrate intellectual, spiritual, and vocational learning. Interaction with local and global communities of faith throughout the course of study grounds this process in real-world contexts.
HOW WE DO IT
Lancaster Theological Seminary maintains an environment where students are both encouraged and challenged in their beliefs, and where each student's path toward spiritual formation is nurtured. Students have meaningful access to our renowned faculty and build lasting bonds with their peers as they learn, worship, and grow together. Lancaster Theological Seminary does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, creed, marital status, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, affectional preference, or veteran or citizenship status. We act affirmatively to attain a more balanced representation of under-represented racial and ethnic minorities.
