For United Church of Christ members in discernment and others considering ordination and call in the United Church of Christ, this online event is hosted by the Rev. Stephen Boyd, Minister for Chaplains and Ministers in Specialized Settings. This is the first of two events. The second one is on Friday, April 9.
The Rev. Dr. Renee Jackson, Minister for Ministerial Formation, will present on the Member in Discernment Process, discuss navigating the process, and offer insight into completing the MID journey and preparing for the final steps and the ecclesiastical council.
The Rev. Stephen Boyd will offer a short introduction to Three- and Four-Way Covenants and how they can be helpful in crafting an ordainable call.
