Lancaster Theological Seminary's fully accredited, new Doctor of Ministry program for religious professionals is designed to help you

Lancaster Seminary's new DMin program:

  • Integrates theological reflection with your ongoing practice of ministry;
  • Provides regular opportunities to learn with peers and share professional wisdom;
  • Offers you the opportunity to contribute to the profession as a whole through systematic study and research;
  • Blends on-campus intensive courses one week each semester with convenient online coursework.

Our new DMin program offers you a rare and valuable opportunity to engage with others on the big questions:

  • What does it mean to be human?
  • How wide is God's mercy?
  • What is the nature of power?
  • Is God one?
  • What is needed for human flourishing?


TWO SEMESTERS EACH YEAR: Fall & Spring

  • Attend 5 days of on-campus intensive courses each semester
    • Oct. 17-22, 2016
    • May 22-26, 2017
  • Take 1 core course + 1 elective during each of your first 3 semesters
  • Take 1 core course during your 4th semester
  • Devote your last year to completing your major project and final presentation
  • Refresh your spirit and build community at the annual Fall spiritual retreat
  • Use the convenient Moodle online educational platform

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master of Divinity degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years in ministry following the degree, or a consistent professional ministry during the 5 years prior to application
  • Ongoing practice of ministry
