Late October – early November
Meet with your advisor prior to registration week to finalize your Spring registration so you may be certain that all requirements will have been met on schedule. You and your faculty advisor will be able to review your full official record on SONISWEB. While the Office of the Dean, the registrar and the faculty advisor will make every effort to notify the student of any outstanding requirements, the final responsibility for completing the necessary requirements rests with the student.
If your records do not match the official record as reflected on your transcript, make an appointment to meet with Judi Hummer as soon as possible, but not later than December 1, to resolve them.
Federal Stafford loan borrowers who will have completed all course work and degree requirements by the end of the fall semester or who will register for fewer than 6 credits in the spring semester are required to complete the Stafford Loan exit counseling prior to the end of the Fall semester.
Order graduation regalia [required if you are participating in the Commencement service] and optional graduation announcements and/or certificates of appreciation from Josten's website.
Students must resolve all outstanding balances, including Schaff Library obligations. Move-out date from seminary housing and date for the final walk-through must be confirmed with the Business Office. Key and parking fobs, parking tags and any seminary housing keys must be returned. All outstanding Seminary obligations must be discharged (including May rent) by April 15 in order to graduate and to participate in the Commencement exercises.
Biographical Form This form must be completed and submitted by April 30. Be sure to indicate if you are the search process, even if it is not confirmed. You need not reveal where or other details, just that you are in the process.
Tickets may be required for the Commencement Service and will be distributed to graduates by the President's Office.

Graduating Student Questionnaire by June 1. (This is different from the exit counseling session required of federal Stafford loan borrowers.) You will receive the online link by email form the Dean's Office.

During the last Tuesday afternoon of Spring classes, the Seminary community gathers for the presentation of commencement prizes given for academic excellence. In addition, there are other light-hearted recognitions given to unsuspecting recipients.
Senior Retreat and Sending Forth (9:00 a.m-3:00 p.m. on the last day of the Spring semester) is mandatory for all Master's graduating seniors. This is an opportunity for reflection on your years of study at LTS, as well as a time of blessing as you embark on the next steps in your ministry and faith journey. Lunch is included. Anyone who absolutely cannot attend must meet with the Dean of Students prior to the last day of the semester for an exit interview. Complete information and directions will be sent by email from the Dean's office.
Grades for graduating seniors are to be reported to the Dean's office by professors. Students must find out from professors when work is to be submitted in order to meet this deadline. Incompletes must be resolved by this date. [Must be completed to be cleared to graduate.]
